Biography

David Goldman is a tax partner in Baker McKenzie's Los Angeles office. David has extensive experience advising clients on a variety of transactional tax and executive compensation issues. He is a sought after speaker on transactional tax issues and has authored numerous articles on tax law.

David is ranked by Chambers USA as a leading tax law practitioner in California and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.

David is a former chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Pass Through Entities Taxation Committee. He is also a former chair of the board of directors and current treasurer of the Menorah Housing Foundation, a non-profit real estate development and management company dedicated to the provision of affordable housing to low-income seniors in the Los Angeles area.

Practice Focus

David focuses his practice on tax structuring for mergers, acquisitions and portfolio investment transactions as well as the structuring of joint ventures, private investment funds and other partnership vehicles. He also advises clients on executive compensation matters.
